Across the year, we occasionally run special dúchas events. Many of these are only scheduled for one day each year and they mark significant cultural events locally. These include the 'Pattern days' of local saints, ancient Gaelic festivals like Samhain or anniversaries of local historic events including battles that were fought locally.
About Us
At Gormú we host a series of guided adventures every day of the week. Each morning starts with our Dawn Pilgrimage and Swim, then it's our daily clifftop hike followed by our Placenames walk. We finish with a heritage bicycle tour every afternoon called Forks, Focail and Folklore.
We also host special one-off dúchas or heritage events to celebrate local festivals and events like local Pattern Days.
